Karena baru pertama kali bikin petunjuk seperti ini, harap dimaklum kalo ada yang membingungkan. just tell me in your comment here, jadi bisa ditindaklanjuti..=)

update 20 Febuari 2006 : ralat koding untuk bagian style sheet. sebelumnya tertulis: “…<ItemPage>…<ItemPage>” yang seharusnya tertulis “…<ItemPage>…</ItemPage>”

update 14 Febuari 2006 : nyoba lagi pake Internet Explorer (IE) 7 The Beta 2 Preview link read morenya bisa terlihat.pengguna IE, kalau mau, upgrade IEnya jadi IE7 =)

Selanjutnya copy-pastekan kode CSS berikut:

      a.more{display:none;}<MainOrArchivepage>span.fullpost {display:none;}span.fullpost + a.more{display:inline;}span.fullpost + div + a.more{display:inline;}</MainOrArchivePage><ItemPage>span.fullpost {display:inline;}</ItemPage>

      <div><$BlogItemBody$></span><a class="more" href="<$BlogItemPermalinkUrl$>"title="read the full article...">Read more...</a></div>

lalu simpan dengan menekan tombol “Save Template Changes” lalu Republish blog Anda.

  • selamat mencoba.

How to create expandable post summaries and custom comment form

update July 16 2006 : I’m not using custom comment form. you can find the reason here

since i wasn’t in a good mood this whole day then got bored, i tried to found out what blogger could do to satisfied me.

first, formerly i got curious how to put a “read more” link to a long post, so you only see a summaries of your post in the main page. i’ve searched in Blogger Help Section. that lead me to the Hack Section. there was a topic that match to what i’ve been searching for: How can I create expandable post summaries?. it was a good way, but still not enough for me. the weakness of the solution is you can find the “read more” link in each post regardless the post were summarize or not.

well, seing from what i’ve done to my previous post, you can assumed that i’ve found the way, alhamdulillah. credit goes to Google for helping me found it.

i found it in one of articles in Yin Wang’s Blog. you can read the details how to setting your blogger here.

this solution will help you guys who are posting stories/fiction in their blog.

the second, i’ve change the way to put comment in my post. usually, you’re given a link to put a comment, but now i’ve provided a custom blogger comment form, looks much more simple for me. credit goes to Jasper de Vriez with his blog Browservulsel. you can find how to in here
actually you can put custom button in your comment form so you can put smilies in your comment, but i’m still learning on that. i’ve found the way, but it looks sophisticated, will try to find the simple one. if i’ve found it, i’d post it in here.

mm, the result of the form, the layout maybe looks a lil’ bit messier..well at least for me. will try to fix it someday..when i’m in the mood…

    enjoy your blogger more.

    A Never Ending Attraction

i always wondered, did it found me first or was it me who found it?
a magical mirror showing a shadow of mine.
when eternity only last in the smile of the sun.
where stories come and go by the wishper of time.

    like a never ending attraction.
    a strange shadow of mine.
a twin like we would never get separated.
yet we knew we would never have the same rime.

chains that shackled souls from their freedom.
hesitation that binded birds from flying.
knowing the end of it has come.
but stranded in aversion of departing.

    the sadness greets the window.
the moon hides behind its shadow.
    when will the rain stop?

the crack of boundary only put tears in result
but the little princess screaming out loud, affraid
keeping the butterfly surrounded hopelessly in her hands

counting the stars in milky way
and the sun knows the earth is still revolving and changing
and the north star never tired led the wanderer in his way
    the dawn is approaching

for the last time, a never ending attraction
dreaming of a story of twin spica
but she let the butterfly spread its wings and fly
accompanied with the soft smile of wind

    two steps back were taken
the fox leaved the little prince
and the little prince leaved the fox
headed to each path they have choosen

the mirror is waiting in the silent
    for another never ending attraction

dedicated to : Little Prince and Little Princess, The Butterfly and The Fox..wherever you are

    new year?

exactly on january 1st 2006, the neighborhood were bustled with the sound of trumpets, sparklers and fire crackers , it seemed that they were overjoyed bout that.
well…. , but not for me, who at that time were in full of consciousness. the bustling were kinda annoying . a thought appeared on my mind, did they ever think about people who were sleeping at that time? or maybe a sleeping baby? or a people in need of composure? though that bustling didn’t last till morning [which i am really grateful of that, alhamdulillah ]…well it’s not really over, there’re still blows of trumpets here and there. God, when will they stop??
